| From the Publisher 2006 was a good year for Poetic Matrix Press. We produced 4 new volumes: Joe Milosch - The Lost Pilgrimage Poems Bonnie Gisel ed. - Nature Journal with John Muir (hardcover and paperback) Rayn Roberts - Of One and Many Worlds Sandra Stillwell - In A Dress Made Of Butterflies We were present at a number of Readings, Press Introductions, Performances, and Events. In Yosemite: WORDS performances x 2 with James Downs, John Peterson. In Seattle: 3 readings and a recording session with Rayn Roberts, Brandon Cesmat, Tomás Gayton, John Peterson. In Benicia: For Sandra Stillwell's book publishing party with James Downs, John Peterson. In San Diego: A series of readings and gatherings put on by Joe Milosch and Terry Hertzler with James Downs, John Peterson, Tomás Gayton, Brandon Cesmat. In Stockton: At the John Muir Conference, John Muir Center, University of the Pacific with Bonnie Gisel, and John Peterson. Radio Programs: Six in Seattle produced by J. Glenn and Barbara Evans of PoetsWest at KSER 90.7 Evertt WA with Rayn Roberts, John Peterson, Brandon Cesmat, Tomás Gayton and in Boston produced by Adeline Stevens AM 1060, WBIX www.wbixonline.com with Tomás Gayton. We had ads in Poets & Writers Magazine, New Titles Section: Gail Entrekin, Tomás Gayton and Joe Milosch; in Poetry Flash for Gail Entrekin and Bonnie Gisel; an ongoing banner ad in The Golden Lantern Buddhist Poetry web site; and we swapped site banners on a wide variety of web sites. 2006 saw a call for Manuscripts for our Slim Volume Series. 56 manuscripts were submitted and The Unequivocality of a Rose by Joel Netsky was selected for publication in early 2007. For 2007: We currently have two books in production: The Unequivocality of a Rose by Joel Netsky and the Madera South High School FM. Literary Magazine 10 Year Anthology (our contribution to the Madera community with Royalties going to the FM. Magazine program). We are looking to produce 2 additional titles for the first part of the year; produce a more extensive catalog for distribution; develop a wider presence on the internet; develop a more active sales presence in bookstores, both indie and corporate; create a wider presence at book fairs and poetry events.
