"Teaching literature and creative writing, I careered in technical writing. For the last few years I’
m doing what I should be doing for better or worse. The best poems are waiting to be written.
A few of my poems have been accepted by Mid-American Review, Pinch, Poet Lore, The South
Carolina Review, and The Spoon River Poetry Review. Clarity and accessibility essential —
poetry finds its way to feeling through restraint and indirection. I try to practice this."
