Poetic Matrix Submissions
Submissions for poetry
Submissions for our online periodic letteR
Submissions for book length manuscripts
As a small press, we are very selective about what books we publish. Please look
over our publications and this website before submitting. We are happy to look over
good quality, well written poetry, but I must tell you we only publish 3-5 books
per year. Particularly look on the website under PM Archives and read "Why Do This?"
before submitting; it will give you a statement about why we started Poetic Matrix
Press. To a large extent we look for poetry that has turned the corner and gone
from being caught in the wreak of one's life to a more Buddhist understanding.
Every few years we place a call for manuscripts for our Slim Volume Series. Recent
publications include: The Unequivocality of a Rose by Joel Netsky and Change
(will do you good) by Gail Entrekin. Look here for the next call for manuscripts.
We publish our online letteR 2 times a year, Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. To send
poems via email to this site, mail to: poeticmatrix@yahoo.com.
Email is the best way to present what you are doing, 3 to 5 pieces is appropriate.
We only accept pieces in the body of the email, we will not open attachments as
they are too time consuming for the number of submissions we receive (please make
sure you create line breaks in the email so the formatting remains). Please include
a short bio with the submission.
All submissions received, either specific to the online periodic letteR or book
submissions, will be reviewed for submission to the online periodic letteR.
Because we are a small press please be patient, we will respond but it may take
some time.
We encourage you to look over our titles. Our authors come from all parts of the
society; from university professors to highway contractors to lawyers to students.
Poetry flourishes in all quarters of the culture and it is our missions to seek
out new and interesting work and get it out to a quality public. We invite you to
read and purchase our poetry books. You can preview our books on Google Book Search
available on our Press Page. One of the roles of the poet is to support other poets
— Buy a Book!
Thank you for your interest in our Press.
